Roasted Chicken in Salt with Fennel, Thyme and Lemon
Roasted Chicken in Salt with Fennel, Thyme and Lemon is an awesome and very tasty Italian course which will really decorate your festive table.
Ingredients: 2 whipped eggs,
8 tbsp pestled fennel seeds,
2 cut in halves lemons,
fresh thyme,
olive oil,
2 kg chicken,
chopped fresh parsley,
8 pressed garlic cloves,
3 kg salt,
black pepper.
Preparation:

  Here is a Roasted Chicken in Salt with Fennel, Thyme and Lemon recipe which is a classic Italian course.
  At first heat oven to 200 degrees.  Put eggs, lemon juie, salt, fennel seeds, water cup and pepper in a bowl. Stir it all thoroughly. Pestle thyme. Add olive oil to it.
  Then rub the chicken with this mix. Stuff the chicken with the rest of the mix, garlic, parsley and lemon juice. Put 4 big foil pieces on each other. Put 1/3 salt on the foil and then put the chicken on it. Put the rest of salt on the whole chicken. Now roll up the foil edges making a parcel.
  Put the chicken for 2 hours in oven. After roasting put it for 15 min aside. Serve the course with a salad, bread and white wine.
