Abkhazian Solyanka
Abkhazian Solyanka is a tasty and thick soup cooked according to the traditional Abkhazian recipe. Serve the course with polenta to get a classic Abkhaziann dinner.
Ingredients: 1 kg beef,
3 tbsp tomato paste,
3 tbsp ajika,
3 garlic cloves,
2 pickled cucumbers,
1 tbsp capers,
2 onions,
1/4 cup vegetable oil,
2 bay leaves,
5 peppers,
1 cup water,
salt to your taste.

  We present you an Abkhazian Solyanka recipe which is as thick as a main course. It's up to you to choose how to serve this course.
  Pour oil in a deep stewing pan. Dice onions, put them in the pan and stew them for 3 min. Meanwhile cut beef in small pieces. Increase the heat and put meat in the pan. Fry it a little, pour some water there, reduce the fire and stew the beef for 1,5 hour with the lid on. Add more water if necessary.
  In 15 min before the soup is ready add chopped pickled cucumbers, pepper and bay leaf to the meat. Stew it all for 4 min and add tomato paste diluted with water. Stew it for a minute more.
  Add capers and dress the course with garlic and ajika. Stew it all until ready.
