Chinese Moon Cakes with Walnuts
Chinese Moon Cakes with Walnuts is an original Chinese course which will fascinate your children.
Ingredients: 400 g golden syrup,
1/2 tbsp soda,
100 ml corn oil,
550 g flour,
1 1/2 tbsp alkaline water,
soya sauce.

For the stuffing:
125 g chopped walnuts,
100 g almonds,
100 g melon seeds,
75 g chopped candied tangerine peels,
100 g chopped candied melon,
100 g sesame seeds,
150 g sugar,
2 tbsp brandy,
1/4 tbsp soya sauce,
50 g corn oil,
75 g cornflour.
Preparation:

  Here is a Chinese Moon Cakes with Walnuts recipe which is a traditional Chinese course. So let's start.
  First of all let's cook the dough. Mix water, syrup, soda and oil, whip this mix and put it aside for 5 hours.
  Then add soya sauce and sift flour there, stirring the smooth dough. Put it aside for 6 hours.
  Then divide the dough in balls.
  In order to cook the stuffing mix all the ingredients for it except for flour. After that add flour and stir it all.
  Wrap the stuffing in the dough and fasten the edges. Sprinkle the cakes with flour. Put every cake in a pan and put the baking pan in oven. Bake the cakes for 8 min at 180 degrees.
