Ingredients: 230 g short pastry.

For filling:
2 large finely chopped onions,
120 g grated tasty cheese,
2 tbsp milk,
pepper.
Preparation:

  Cheese and Onion Pie recipe is an yummy and nourishing course of the classic English cuisine. So let's cook it together.
  Divide the pastry in two parts, roll it out and line a plate with one half of it.
  Chop onions and fry them until slightly brown.
  Put onions on pastry base, top it with grated cheese, then sprinkle over milk and pepper.
  Cover it with other round of pastry, press edges together and decorate if desired, then brush with milk.
  Bake it in hot oven (400F) for 30 min. Check after 25 min.
  It is very delicious with bacon and peas and sauce.
